“I absolutely love this book! As an educator for more than twenty years,
I feel it touches on areas of money and financial planning that has
been lacking, especially for the age that this book targets. It presents
lessons and concepts in a manner that is fun and educational, while
being entertaining and relatable to the reader. Thank you for writing
this much needed book!”

“The Adventures of Susie Saver and Penny
Pink Piggy Bank: Susie and Penny go to Chicago is an engaging
children's book packed with not so subliminal messages about the
mistake of instant gratification and the satisfaction of working
for what one desires. The adorable illustrations throughout the book
bring Susie to life as she and Penny the Pig work hard to earn the
money for their prize. A wonderful read for dads and daughters (even
Moms and sons) who want to impart some good financial habits while
having fun together.”

“I
read this book and was engaged the whole time!!! I am a future elementary
teacher and I will definitely use this book when I teach money in
mathematics. I can use this book within my lesson plan for a fun
example to encourage children to save their money and be aware of
why it's so important to save money. The illustrations are cute and
perfectly drawn. Even if your child is too young to read yet, the
pictures are worth the purchase. I hope to be in the Chicago Public
School district which will be great to use this book since it is
about Chicago and also shows landmarks in the city. I hope Susan
Ahlfeld makes more books to add to the "Susie the Saver" series.”
