Susan Ahlfeld earned her credentials as a Certified Financial Planner TM practitioner through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. She earned her Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation through the College for Financial Planning. She also holds her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses through Finra (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). She has been in the financial service industry for over a decade, helping families build their wealth, save for college, and create lasting legacies from their success. She owns her own financial planning franchise through Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in Naperville, a western suburb just outside of Chicago.

Susan and her husband, Ryan, reside in Naperville, with their 16-month-old daughter, Kate. They also have a family dog named Mattie. Every day Susan is helping families save to reach their financial goals. These books are a way for her to reach out to families and guide parents in introducing to their children the values of taking the responsibility for earning and saving for what they want in a fun way.

Barb’ra Ice is a Fine Arts major from Texas and owns a mural painting business in Naperville where she enjoys brightening family and kid’s room of all sorts.
